I’m looking at the KastKing Royal Legend in 7’ MH/F as an all around,general purpose “ Just like to fish” rod. What do you folks think of this stick?

I have 2 Kastking speed demon pro tournament series rods and they are very nice for the price I paid.  The ones I got have small guides and they are light and very comfortable

I have the H/Fast versions they're nice for the money. I do notice KK tapers are a little softer then stated (then again every rod brand has their own version of what is what), but a nice rod over all. 

I’m glad to hear that these are decent products. It’s amazing how much quality you can buy for a reasonable amount of money. In reality this is a rather affordable hobby.

Hahaha, it can be...but wait until you decide you want to try a few large swimbaits or other technique specific things.  It can be a slippery slope

I’ve noticed that, the equipment is really quite affordable but the bait.... “Oh Baby!”
