I took my son out last Sunday... he finally caught his first perch. I brought worms with us and tossed out a bobber.

 

This is was our first time at Ruffins Mill pond.

 

water was very murky... I mean creamed Coffee color with little to no visibility.

 

i caught 4. Two biggest was both 1.4

    Awesome!  Way to go Justus.  Seems like every time I go by Ruffins, it's that color and hard to see below the surface.

    Yea it’s definitely hard to see.. the deeper part of the lake is clearers in the deep end but must travel to back of lake to get there.
