Instead of buying any more chatterbaits - I wanted to see who has tried the Foggy vibrating jigs , what their strengths and weaknesses are , etc. as well as their action in the water (3/8th oz. size ).

Siebert Outdoors' Fogy?

I use them.  They are good.

-Strengths: they catch fish

-Weaknesses: None, really.  There's two I like better, but it's splitting hairs.

-Strength and weakness depending:  They ride a little lower than some others

-Action on the water: they vibrate when you're reeling them in

-If feel I should order chatterbaits and I'm putting in a SO order, I'll always throw Fogy's on it.

Note: My chatterbait use is probably 50% shallow/weedy; 30% around hard cover; 20% other.  I use Rage Bug as trailer very nearly 100% of the time now.  Always white....except on dark blue/black lures, when I use a dark blue/black Bug.

The Fogy Bubble Blade has accounted for 80% of my fish this year, it's been the only thing I can depend on to get a bite! I fish in very stained and shallow conditions and the depth factor has kept water temps hovering around 90 all summer but the Fogy in 'Disco Shad' gets bites when nothing else will.

Good replies ! I noticed a large store had Jack Hammers on sale for $12.99 ea. but then I realized I could buy a few nice Foggy's for the same price with wire ties for the skirt ... I figure Foggys in green pumpkin , a white shad and maybe a shad color sub category like disco shad or sexy shad would make a nice trio for Fall vibrating jig fishing .
