Senkos in the river

Featured Replies

DO senkos work in a brakish river, just wondering because i do most of my fishing there and I have yet to buy a bag of senkos, because i was wondering if they would work there first.

Lures are not species specific so there 's no reason why lures wouldn 't work in any environment on any kind of predatory fish. I 've caught calico, sand & yogi bass, red snapper, snooks and pargo with stickbaits in the sea.

yes  gary yamamotos     senkos are the best bait you could try and find instant success with

Oh yeah, snook, redfish, and even speckled trout will tear a senko up. I've even used senkos in the Chesapeak Bay and caught stripers and a couple blues on a t-rigged senko twitched quickly through schools of bait.
