Boat care

Featured Replies

I have a 4 year old Nitro I recently bought. I've never had a nice boat before and want to keep it up. I fish Lake Livingston TX and wondered how those of you that fish often take care of your newer boats?

Do you wash them each time you come in? Do you just hose them off and wipe them down? I know I'll probably be less fussy next year when the boat is not so new to me.

One year ago I sold my 96 Stratos 201 f/s,and after 11 years it still was in near perfect shape. When the guy who bought it asked me how did I keep it so nice, my reply was 5 dollars at the local car wash and 20 minutes with a sweeper.Besides making it look good you also keep the chance of promoting invasive species into other watersheds ( we have zebra mussel problems).

If your a perfectionist like me,try the hot wax and spot free rinse ;D
