Would a G. Loomis 842 MBR work well for the 3/8 DS?

 

@NHBull - You mentioned that you used this for the 1/2, which surprised me a little bit. If that’s the case, I would think it could handle the 3/8 great. Would you still recommend the 842 for the 1/2?

    one of my DS setups is the 842 but bump up in power for a 1/2 ounce bait.

    that is one of my set-ups and it gets used often!

     

    It also has doubles as a small SB rod, weightless Wacky rig,

    Anyone know of any sites that still have any sales on these ? Did my Black Friday shopping and completely forgot to order these.
