14 fiberglass boat

Featured Replies

hi guys, been reading a long time, first time post.. im interested in buying a 14 ft fiberglass boat i saw but all the lakes around me dont allow gas motors... i have a 50 lb thrust trolling motor... if i had a few batteries... do you think that would lug the heavy fiberglass boat around for a few hours?  any input is appreciated!  thanks

You'll be fine.  I have a 15 glass boat with a 42lb motor and two batteries.  It gets me through a full tournament day

I have a 1996 Stratos 258V Bass Boat the Dry Hull Weight: 890 lbs; my trolling motor is a 50 lb thrust Minn Kota which I can use all day with battery left over.
