Pros traveling to Florida?

Featured Replies

Was driving north on I-75 and saw a wrapped boat headed southbound. Was hard to see with the boat cover but the title sponsor was either "Pandora" or ended in "-ora", black wrap/white lettering. Any ideas who I spotted?

My question would be - if it is 'Pandora'...is it the Jeweler or the internet radio station (owned by Sirius XM)

These days a wrapped boat doesn't mean it was a pro. Since wrapping has become more common on many things like trucks, vans, cars etc. I have noticed that there are a lot of boats that are wrapped that are sometimes just for marketing purposes. Much like you, someone may see a wrapped boat and google the name to see who they just saw only to find out it is a business somewhere. Could be that this is for advertising purposes or it could be just a local tourney guy who is sponsored by a few local businesses and has a wrap.

That being said, BASS is fishing in Kissimmee Jan 15 - 17th. So it very well could have been a pro.

I have seen KVD's boat with someone driving the truck that was not KVD returning from a BASS Elite tournament in Maryland on route 301 in Maryland.

My friend saw Ike's boat on Huguenot Road in Chesterfield County, but he had no idea who was driving the truck. Ike has in-laws in Chesterfield County and was probably going to look up some fishing buddies or Woo Daves to hit the Historic James.

Other than for the pros' boats in the parking lot at the mouth of the Chickahominy River ramp, in the water practicing for a local Elite tournament, in the Osborne Landing ramp parking area or at the BPS in Ashland for the weigh-ins, I just don't notice them if they are around.

And it is OK to look. Just don't touch.
