Daiwa elite crankbaits rods

Featured Replies

What rods in the Daiwa elite line up would you reccomend to cover all cranking? Squarebill, heavy lipless, 1/2pz lipless and deep divers

I have the 7'4" crankin/bladed jig model and it's very nice for everything up to 1 oz lures

This is what I’ve came up please correct me on anything you would do different

Squarebill-7/2 medium Brent
Larger Squarebills-7/0 mh tak
Mid depth like wiggle warts-7/0ml Randy
1/2 oz lipless- 7/2 medium Brent
3/4 oz lipless-7/0 mh tak
6xd style-7/4 mh Brent
8xd style-8/0 mh Brent
10 xd style- 8/0 mh Brent (worried if this can handle this bait well)

i haven't messed with 7'mh tak rod, but it's supposed to be based on the old tds 7'mh crank rod, and those could handle a wide range of baits.  the weight & balance weren't the greatest on those rods, but from the few threads i've read on different boards, the balance is improved on the tat elite rods.
