I have a 13'6" 1968 sea king and a 14' 1980s Smoker Craft Big fisherman. I modded the sea king the same way I bought it, and am looking to gut the smoker craft and make a full casting deck with more storage. The sea king is shorter and fatter, but not as tall. The smoker craft is longer and deeper. Both are great boats. I have not been out on the water with the smoker craft yet. I fish with my grandfather on occasion and at times he has trouble moving around.
