Garmin Transducers

Featured Replies

Looking at new transducers. I will be running two Garmin ECHOMAP 94SV units with a freshwater card. I am selling the two gt51m-tm transducers because they weigh almost as much as my boat and I do not need 1600' of fish finding capability. I was told the gt52 is a good freshwater option. im now hearing of the gt30?. planning ion only running one transducer. might add a cheap one on the trolling motor down the road but im not. sure yet.

what transducer do I want?

The gt30 has a stronger signal strength, 500w, for the dv/sv component but is not listed as having a traditional sonar.  The gt 52hw has a 350w dv/sv and a 250w traditional chirp element. Both will give you great image quality but the extra cost for the gt52 gives you traditional chirp.
