I have a couple Dobyns rods, I have a Sierra & Fury. I've been happy with my Dobyns Rods that I have. I've never used a Phenix rod so I can't comment for their rods. I think you'll have more choices to choose from with the Dobyns Fury compared to the Phenix. I think your best choice would be the Fury comparison wise. I would also recommend the Falcon BuCoo SR for around that price, you can find them on sale right now. I picked up 2 of them from Sportsman's Outfitters, they were $59.99 & $69.99. I think if you sign up with them you can get a discount code/points if I remember right.
