Looking to take advantage of Wisconsin's catch and release year round which starts April 1st. I live in the twin cities and only have experience fishing lakes near Danbury so i was hoping someone could suggest a decent lake for bass near Hudson. Thanks folks and i hope everyone is getting by ok. 

Not sure what you consider close, but Wapo is under an hour from there and that's a pretty decent bass lake and might be a good option for you.
