Black label update

Featured Replies

Many seen my earlier post about black label not returning an email about a defective product. As luck would have it they got back with me today. The company is owned by bass pro Cliff Pace. He personally called me to apologize for the extended wait on response time and are replacing the bait in question. They very well may have regained me as a customer depending on how well the baits catch fish. I am a customer service stickler and good or bad I like to let folks know about my experiences . Even with my email getting overlooked somehow I feel the conversation I had with the company today more than made up for it.

Glad you are happy now, but you were upset enough yesterday to start a thread about it, so it appears their customer service still isn't very good. You just happen to change your tune in 24 hours. Kind of like getting a bad pizza from Papa John's and telling everyone about it and then coming back and saying, well Peyton Manning called and they are going to give me another pizza to try. Still doesn't change the fact that the first pizza wasn't any good.

They said it was because of how busy they were coming off the week of the classic.i am not sure exactly how I feel about that, and yes I am not thrilled it took a month to hear from them, but in the end they did make it right. Now this doesn't mean I'm saying they have got the best CS out there but the fact that the owner gave me a call really does speak volumes to me. Also I've got no time for holding a grudge we all make mistakes now and then

If Cliff Pace called me they definitely would regain me as a customer without a doubt! I probably would have apologized to him I’m a big fan.
Great to hear I’ve had the wreck in my cart for a while now.

The Black labels are great baits.  That one in the pic looks like it bounced off a rock or dock.

I understand Cliff bought Ed Chambers equipment after he passed and the BL wreck is the same as The WEC squarebill.

Balsa baits will chip.

Yup this is what I’ve heard I think on BTL panrac mentioned that.

That bait was only thrown over a weed flat maybe half a dozen times . Any bait out there should not chip like that without some serious abuse
