boat towing

Featured Replies

When towing my boat the motor always rotates all the way to the right. Is this going to hurt anything? I have a transom saver on, so there is no bounce. I suspect it does it because of the way the cables are run.

I agree that chances are it will not hurt it however, I always place my transom saver in place then use a rubber bungee type strap to secure it and I also use another strap to secure my steering wheel in place by attaching it to my side grab rail so it cant move.

If your motor has power trim/tilt use the correct transom saver, then the motor will not rotate.

Swivl-EZE Adjustable Head Transom Saver

I have been told no problem. Also your motor will find the place it will always go to when trailering.
