Old Ambassaduers with scratches and rash

I see a lot of the old ambassaduers all scratched up with rash on top, etc.  Anyway to clean up that kind of damage?

    No not without having the side plates striped and anodized and that requires removing the non aluminum parts.

    You could put a scouring pad on a dermel or a drill and try to polish alot of that boat rash off. Might not be able to get it all but could deffinately reduce alot of it

    Thanks.  Love those old reels but it’s hard to find one not beat up.  If they are in good shape, the price is crazy from what I’ve seen.
