Hey all, one of my cheaper spinning reels seems to have the drag loosen periodically. One click down makes the drag too easy to out. I want to make the drag adjustment tighter at the lower setting. I know buying a decent reel would solve this problem, but seeing if this is solvable. I think the drag is loosening one click down during the cast. It is very easy to move the drag tighter and looser at the lower setting. On a heavier setting, I don't have this problem. Not on every cast, but enough that it effects the fishing when I get one. Any thoughts?

No moving parts on a spinning reel during the cast so that can’t have anything to do with it. My guess is the drag washer material is low quality, dry, stuck or dirty. 

What kind of reel is this? Daiwa with ATD drag?
