14' alum with a 9.9 horse

if you do find a tracker or something for 2K you will have alot of heartbreak.

old boats=bad situation

My 14 ft jon w trailer and 8 hp 4 stroke cost more than 2k (brand new though). You may get lucky finding something older, but you will likely be putting some work into it.

There are out there if you are willing to put in the work. Absolutely stay away from a glass boat at this price. The transom, floor, & stringers will all be bad.

Good luck and good hunting.

An old used boat that would probably cost another 1K to make usable.

An older used aluminum or jon boat with 9.9 - 25 hp motor.

If you could find someone in your area that has one like I have that they would just like to get out of their yard, you could find a 15' Fisher aluminum with a 48hp Evinrude, trailer, console steering, two casting decks and two running seats and good bow mounted TM. All for $1,000 and I've got almost $2,000 in it and haven't had it in the water in over two years.

For under 2k you could easily pickup an older 14-16ft john with a 9.9 on the back.  Probably with a TM and a graph too.
