Hello everyone! I recently purchased a boat (2006 Nitro 482 w/ 115 EFI Merc) and I am new to lake/boat fishing. The boat has an old Lowrance in-dash graph that came with it when it was purchased new, but it does not work. I am looking for suggestions for a new one. It must have mapping capabilities. I’ve read on several models but I’m just not sure where to start. I definitely don’t need top of the line. Looking to keep my budget around $800-$1000 or less. Let me know what I should take a look at!

I think you should look into the Garmin units 93SV.  Has everything you are looking for and you get a lot for the price.  around 1k.

I run a 7 at the helm and a 7 up front. These have the better transducers and wireless capabilities which I wished I had.
