Power Tilt/Trim

Featured Replies

The power tilt/trim on my boat has been leaking and i'm trying to fill it up for the time being until I can get it fixed. The problem I am having is even with the tongue of the trailer laying on the ground the fill port is still at an angle where the fluid won't go in. Do I need like a turkey baster or something like that to fill this thing up?

I had the same problem a few years ago.  I used a pump oiler to fill T&T with hydraulic fluid.

This is what I used after someone else suggested it on the forum. Wal-Mart special...find the cheap ketchup/mustard bottles like in the pic. Cut the tip back to what will work best. Worked great for me.

Thanks for the quick response guys. I will have to pick one of those up. One more question how do I bleed the lines to get all the air out of the unit?
