I just 'inherited' an AS 360 TM (not mega) 360 to install on my 20 foot aluminum boat.  I've ordered a universal mount from GeigerTec.  I multi-species fish - bass, crappie, catfish - so spend significant time on both the bow and stern.  Where best to install?  Both bow and transom space are getting a little cramped, but I could shoehorn it in, -or- I could mount mid-boat next to my side console (the easiest as far as chasing cables is concerned). .  Does it really matter?  Thanks in advance for your advice.....

Hello John and Welcome to Bass Resource ~

Mine is mounted on the trolling motor.

Works out nicely.

Thanks, I am aware of the 3rd party attachment system for my Terrova, but there are times/situations when I will want 360 without the trolling motor deployed, so I am using GeigerTec's universal mount to position it (somewhere) on the deck of my boat.
