Bass Tracker Battery Connections

Featured Replies

I replaced the trolling motor and cranking battery out of my 2010 Bass Tracker 175, and don't remember how to connect the replacement batteries. Any help would be greatly appreciated. It does have the on board charger. Thanks in advance.

...black goes to negative and red goes to positive. There should be a very thick set of wires coming from your outboard, a very thin set coming from the dash, and a set from your onboard charger that will all get hooked up to your starting battery. For your tm battery, you'll have the other set of wires from your charger and the medium set that should be from your tm.

Thank you very much. I think I may have a switch problem. When I tried to start the motor, the starter engaged and when I turned the switch off, the starter remained engaged and kept turning the engine over. I had to disconnect the red wire to get it to stop.
