So, I knew I needed to repair the power tilt/trim because it was leaking from the rod. So today I go out to get the power tilt/trim off the boat so I can take it some where. I set the tilt/trim to manual and slowly lowered the enging, then I slowly stated raising the enging so I could lock it in the up position so I could remove the titl/trim unit and the d**n rod on the tilt/trim unit completely broke in two. I guess for the time being (possibly forever) no tilt/trim. A new tilt/trim unit for these engines cost over $900 plus labor.  >:(
