1997 Yamaha 150 pro v convert to premix?

Featured Replies

I have a 1997 Skeeter zx 185c with a 97 yamaha 150 pro v. The other day at the end of the fishing day, my buddy was waiting for me to get trailer to the launch and he took a 1/8 mile circle and the over heat alarms went off. Last year over heat alarm went off and i replaced thermostats and never had a problem since. I cant find a oil filter to replace (not sure it does), should i just convert to premix? I really dont see it as a burden. i premix for all my small engine 2 strokes.

Is it hard to convert? i watched videos and read some comments about hownto do it, but some go crazy and some just block one hose.....

My first tourney in 2 weeks, so need to make my mind up.
