Daiwa Tatula Elite AGS Casting Rods vs Shimano Exprides

Featured Replies

Which model is "better" or do you prefer? I'm looking at both 7'3" XH (for frogging) and 7'6" Heavy rods (for TX rigging). I must say that I'm impressed with 7'6" Elite AGS spinning rod that I have for its sensitivity and stiff backbone to handle strong fish. I've no experience with Daiwa's casting models, however. Also, I hear AGS guides are not durable which makes me extra careful about handling my rod, but that takes fun away from fishing. I take good care of my gear, but at the same time, I don't want to baby them either. Anyway, what say you?
