is everyone mounting their transducers outside of the hull?

    The way side imaging works the skimmer transducers should only be mounted on the outside of the hull. Humminbird does sell a thru hull transducer but you must drill a hole in the hull of the boat for it to work.

    Most are either mounting on the jackplate or the T/M. Do not mount it inside. It will not work.
