Ive had this reel for over a year and its been working fine up until recently. I make a cast and half way or less through it over runs and leads to a backlash. Ive fiddled with the mag brake dial and it even had it  on the highest settings. also made some adjustments to the zero adjust dial but i cant figure it out. bomb casts are now impossible and its driving me crazy. 

 

any suggestions?

   Clean and oil the spool shaft on the left hand side.      jj

ugh i found the problem. the mag rotor is the problem. it seems to be loose and broken.

its that plastic piece thats connected to that brass rotor. On that youtube vid it shows at 5:15. I superglued back on it seemed to have worked.
