13 carbon fuse

Featured Replies

Has anyone tried these rods yet? Its really hard to find any reviews on them. I've never tried anything from 13 and am curious about these rods

I have 2 13 Fishing Rods

Elite Chrome 6’10” spin ml and a

Envy Black 7’11” Casting heavy flipping

the spinning is nice although I haven’t used it much. I think it was $80.
I really like the flipping stick but I wish it was a little shorter. I bought it unused for $100 but retail was closer to $300

edit: envy is going for 140 on amazon now so I might have been fed a line of bs

Sorry I haven’t. No reviews on amazon either. That is a pricey rod

Yeah that's what makes me nervous just to go out and buy one. There's a lot of other rods I could get in that price range. I just can't believe there are no reviews on em

I'll have to look at it. Thanks for letting me know

I think the Envy uses the same blank. You could probably take those reviews and get some idea how it'd fish. It should be quite a bit lighter due to the minimalist build. That alone should add some perceived sensitivity. The carbon handle design could offer some benefits as well. I don't know if it's worth the cost at retail, when you can get used NRX, Conquest, Zbone, etc., for the same or less, but I have no doubts that it performs well.

I know. For the money I could almost get another steez or nrx or dozens of other high end rods. That's what makes me so hesitant. I always like trying new rods though. So don't know if I should take the plunge or not. But I really appreciate your input
