I find paddling to give me piece of mind. But of course I had to step it up a couple notches and get into yay tournaments and they allow motors. So I put a trolling motor on it. Now it’s a big project to go out. ?‍♂️ This week on vacation I left the motor at home (no I didn’t forget it). It was nice to paddle again

@Fishingmickey is there a way to add bulk to a handle?

In my other post I said I haven’t been out fishing in a year. Besides my knee pain after surgery, now my right hand goes numb while holding a spinning rod and paddling the kayak. Anyone else have this problem?

Last time I went fishing was last July do to injuries and taking care of my Mom 24/7. This is all I caught. He’s short but round like a nerf football and feisty 2nd fish a couple days later

I have a Xi3 on my big heavy Big Rig. I get just over 5mph. I stand most of the day fishing and like to crawl down a shoreline into the wind which is easy with the remote control locked on a gps heading. I learned real quick to not engage spot lock unless I’m sitting. Allow most went swimming when it suddenly spun the kayak around.

I can not get used to my G19 with holosun on it. I can’t find the dot quickly. So until I can, it stays in the safe.

My fishing partners are gone. My Dad passed 12 years ago and my son who fished many partner tournaments with is in prison for the rest of his life.? My other friend that I fished with has moved on to other stuff. I no longer have a boat and just a kayak so it’s hard to invite new people. I miss the conversations! This is our last photo together

I had a jetski run into me during a tournament. Jetski sunk. My Ranger had a 1” scratch. I was ticked I didn’t get a trophy for the largest second species

I ha a ML triumph and it broke. I bought the next model up and it was so worth the extra money

I used to carry a laminated set of the law in my boat, so when they came out yelling and screaming at me, I would just hand them the law to read while I fished their dock. One time we had a guy come out, screaming at me, said I was fishing in his living room that he owned following his property lines all the way to the middle of the lake and I was not allowed to stop and fish in it. I couldn’t believe what he was saying. I was laughing so much and he got so mad and said he was calling the sheriff. I told him I’d wait for the sheriff because I want to hear him explain this to them. Of course he didn’t call.

I looked into this years 20+ ago. One guide said bass are small and not many places to fish for them. Ended up going for marlin and had one hook up until the drag locked up in the first 20 seconds

I’m with dodgeguy! Nothing more fun than doing battle in the middle of lay downs, docks and heavy weeds
