Anyone fly drones for a living or know someone who does that would be willing to answer a few questions? 

Are you only wanting advice from someone that knows what they’re talking about?  That should be against the rules. ?

I used to do aerial photography years ago as part of my job, flying a DJI Phantom. 

 

I now have a Mavic that I fly for fun and have used it for photo and video shoots for my hotel.

Technically you need to be certified for any commercial use.
