mheichelbech Posted February 16, 2023 Posted February 16, 2023 Wondering anyone has info on largemouth bass fishing or guides in Puerto Rico. Do they get big like Mexico? I was told Peacock bass are small here. Thanks! Quote

Susky River Rat Posted February 16, 2023 Posted February 16, 2023 From what I gathered from work there is only one fresh water body of water to fish there. I could be wrong but, I remember someone telling me that. Most of my coworkers are Puerto Rican and visit/have family there. Quote

GTN-NY Posted February 22, 2023 Posted February 22, 2023 I looked into this years 20+ ago. One guide said bass are small and not many places to fish for them. Ended up going for marlin and had one hook up until the drag locked up in the first 20 seconds Quote

Rita Moreno almost didn't get cast for West Side Story because she wasn't brown enough to pass for a Boricua, and Mr. Bunker's attitude was greeted with concurrence by many, (including my dad) when in fact it was intended as satire. The new West Side story is pretty good, and has better production value than the original, but I still prefer the older one. "I want to live in "America" 1 Quote
Alex from GA Posted December 7, 2024 Posted December 7, 2024 Went there to get our grandson baptised 18 years ago and went tarpon fishing near the airport. We went to the south end of the island and never saw a freshwater lake. Quote
