  1. @Munkin never heard of a river rave
  2. @Munkin jet boats are life here.
  3. I’m the best of the worst and the worst of the best.
  4. a couple from yesterday
  5. Thank you @bassmedic46
  6. You could have blown the trim cylinder out. They do not always leak if it’s internal. I’d verify first by making sure you have the correct voltage trying to raise and lower it off the switch.
  7. @spoonplugger1 you act like I do not already run stuff like that. @MontanaBasser it really is pretty cool honestly.
  8. I don’t have a kayak. I did fish out of a canoe with a trolling motor for years. Then I got a boat. One of my biggest issue with both was I felt I needed to fish EVERYTHING. There is a 300-acre lake? I want to fish every square inch. Even though I knew better I went with the same issue with the boat. Especially when I could fish new water. There is nothing wrong with picking areas and exploring. You just can’t do it in one day or every time out.
  9. 17lb Berkeley vanish. My main line is only 10lb braid usually. The reason is because of rubbing on all the rocks in the susky.
  10. a couple from today
  11. I would like to see it work. I am just puzzled on how it does. I guess that’s why those engineers get paid the buck bucks 😂
  12. I am interested to see how well that will work. In my mind it just seems like the kayak will sway all over the place over compensating because of the leverage the kayak will have over the stern.
  13. I use bow to stern once a month or so.
  14. I try to follow what @Pat Brown stated. I try to get them in as fast as my gear and fish will allow. I won’t skim them across the water but, try to land them quickly. Fish have a very very hard time getting rid of lactic acid build up. This is why they say to land a musky as quickly as possible. I am very against BFS for bass. @king fisher there is a higher morality rate than we will ever know. The whole swam away it will be fine is old logic. It has been disproved through science.
  15. @Dooger this is currently what’s going on here in my boat at 30mph
  16. You probably cross at 81 or 83 so yeah it’s Harrisburg. I fish the Harrisburg stretch sometimes
  17. @stk44 where do you normally cross it? And you need to fish it man!
  18. @spoonplugger1 the boat of choice varies greatly from region to region. The Susquehanna is very unique and the needs are different than most other shallow water places. @Alex from GA yeah for sure man! It’s the def the correct stuff for the area. @Skunkmaster-k its what you need to get around in a lot of places here.
  19. @Swamp Girl with boats like the rock proof style they run extra thick hulls with UHMW or steel plates on them. The new banshee boats are running V8 inboards because of the weight. For me K5 is my only choice for a production aluminum boat.
  20. @Swamp Girl its nothing new. People have been doing it around here for awhile. There is only a couple places on the whole east coast that do it. If you put a hole in the boat insurance would pay to have it put on instead of totaling a boat hull.
