@Brahskinator I run my TM just deep enough it doesn’t break the water. If I go past the drivers seat it will actually start to pop out. That being said I still have about 16” to drop it. I have got stuck on flats in so insane rollers that i shouldn’t have even been out on. It did not break the water when dropped all the way down. As far as a cover I am no help. I keep mine in my garage. Your boat should be identical to mine. It was the first year they changed anything hull wise in a long time. Anything else would be cosmetic. Where did you get yours towne?

I am always jamming to something. Hell you might get a full on concert from me. Anywhere from Loretta Lynn, air supply, August burns red, capture the crown, soja, dirty heads, ozzy, Metallica, T.I., Lil Wayne, you will never know what’s next.

fast moving baits and if I’m getting bit on them in an area and it slows down I will switch to finesse to clean it up.

@Brahskinator I believe I have a 45” Shaft. I’ll measure it. No clue what it is to the waterline. The boat drafts about 6 inches.

Unless you’re doing some real backwoods stuff go with the Jon boat. Most kayak guys try to make their kayaks into bass boats with all the electronics, motors, trailers, etc.

I broke two legend tournament premier rods and will never get this again. I do love their premier rods for bass fishing and use both for spinning and casting. Anything that has happened to those has been my fault. The musky ones just shattered on casts.

My biggest issue when I first got a boat was trying to cover to much water. More time moving and less time fishing. Do not be scared to pack up and moved but, don’t try to fish the whole lake. You’ll learn a lot more that way.

I might not be moving but, I let the current do it for me at times.

I watch river and creek gauges like a hawk. Just have to know what that means for your fishery.

They were calling 8-12 here then it went 4-8 lucked out with about 2.5 but only on the grass. My drive way had about an inch or so. I am over winter big time.

I give another nod to @T-Billy . Crushes bass, crushes musky grinds and grinds and grinds. I don’t know when he sleeps or how he has the energy to keep going. @A-Jay is a big smallie chaser. Fishing for big fish is a grind. It’s a mindset that only the strong survive in. @Kayak Koz now that maybe a surprise to some. How I always say he should get a boat (which he should 😂). He grinds it on big water in tournaments. He bites off more than he can chew and finds a way to swallow it. I respect the heck out of that. He’s always tinkering with something to try and improve it. There are phantoms on here. Post, sometimes show fish but, never show their whole hand. They might not have the glory. They are out there grinding, reeling, and ***.

I would say check your guides. There could be a nick. If your braid is frayed it will cause this to happen as well. I’ve used braid brands that I have had issues with and many I haven’t.

You want the bait to run how it was designed. You need to start with a true running bait before you can tweak it to make it a little different. You won’t reach full depth or full action of the bait till you do.

When I go it’s hit or miss. Never caught anything huge there but, have had good days. If they kill off the weeds good luck getting on fish without FFS. The water at full pool seems to be better than when they draw it down in past experience. I’m by no means an expert there and do get skunked. Feel free to PM me if you have any more questions
