  2. Or shoes Guess I’m the only one that drives a minivan or at least will admit it. rods and tackle in the back. 20mpg combined and 26 highway. Kayak trailer
  3. I just might buy a pair now
  4. I’m home sick in bed but that made me smile
  5. Just finished a big bowl. Didn’t eat it for years until my Mom moved in with us. I cook it on the stove and just add sugar an milk
  6. I have a Jackson Big Rig also. It’s like a barge but once you get moving it’s no problem paddling. I stand a fish all day in mine. It’s like a mini-bassboat. I wanted to find out just how stable it was. I had to stand on the side to get it to flip over
  7. All my fish were lost fish in 2022. Due to injuries I only got out 3 times and most of the fish I hooked on those 3 days I lost. It’s been a sad year?
  8. Or any type of fishing gear
  9. thats what happened on the first knife I tried. Last week I watched a YouTube video (I know guys do need instructions) on using it and they said to run at half speed so you don’t remove to much metal. I’m having a little better luck with it now
  10. Really!?! It’s that good for only $11? It can’t be - I’ve spent hundreds and I’m still not happy ?
  11. They do have a few newer model but no battery operated
  12. I have this but I’m struggling with it. So now I have one of these and I’m getting better results https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B08L72P245?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title
  13. It took around a month. I gave up thinking they weren’t going to call
  14. Yeah that’s what they had me do
  15. Ok thanks. Didn’t know it was 25 to ship. The 50 is only for them to ship to me. They didn’t say I have to ship the broken one to them yet
  16. I had one of their rods break. I submitted my warranty claim. I can get a exact model replaced for free or upgrade and just pay the difference. The part that gets me is I have to pay $50 for shipping. I can understand paying for shipping but $50 seems a little excessive. What’s your thoughts? Thanks
  17. I’ve worked for two companies that could care less about their employees just like yours. One job it was like their motto “we can get any monkey we want to do your job” and they worked us all days and hours and we were salary. Other job we would get our schedule on Fri afternoon for the next week. Sometimes it was pack a bag you’re going out of town for a week starting the next morning or you’re not working next week at all. At some point you have to decide what is worth it. I know ther area you work in. I used to live there. It was bad 40 years ago and now there should be a fence around it. Shootings every day and a lot in broad daylight. I won’t go there anymore even when armed. If you’re not married or have big ties to the area leave this state. I wish I could! Best of luck with your life quest.
  18. Honeoye for numbers. I live close to Conesus so that was always my favorite.
  19. Welcome Mike Im a kayak fisher in the finger lakes also. They are a lot of fun. Past 2 years I’ve been plagued with injuries that keep cutting my time on the water
  20. I was in the same boat. Took 2000-2021 off. I had no idea what these guys here were talking about half the time.
  21. I was talking to a roofer doing my roof and found out he was 3 years younger than me but looked so old
  22. Oh you guys and your war stories. I’ve been a photographer since I was 20 so 42 years of it. I’ve lead a pretty pampered life. No major injuries ever and look 15 years younger than my age. Well except for no hair. Last Nov at 62 I started rebuilding a house from the dirt floors on up and repairing a 200+ year old barn . Holy crap do I hurt. Knees, elblows, shoulders and neck. It’s one thing after another. I’m going back to photography. I bow my head in respect to you guys!
  23. Wow this is sad. I really don’t have a list and I haven’t really done anything. I’ve just become a home body. Not really content. My Mom moved in with us 4 years ago and I don’t feel like I can go any where any more. Also maybe I’m just to practical. I know I don’t have the money to do much but I would like to fish the flats in Key West and drive across the top of the US, down the west coast, across the south and back up the east coast to home with no time limit, well maybe come home. Ok so I guess I do have a bucket list
  24. @Siebert Outdoors do you do bulk?
