  1. Just ordered 6 swim jigs from Sieberts. 2 each in 3 colors. bluegill black pumpkinseed All in 1/2oz
  2. I know! ?
  3. While I’ve never intentionally fished a “swim jig” I have caught lots of fish while retrieving a flipping jig that I had pitched into heavy cover including my biggest of all my fish caught. 54” muskie while fishing a bass tournament. So I really have no idea why I don’t throw them with the intent of swimming them more
  4. Where did you get the gummies? Online link?
  5. Nope I don’t think so! This Sat I have a kayak bass fishing tournament 3 miles from my house. I’ve been waiting for this one. I really don’t feel like going
  6. How do you grillers feel about griddles? I have a grill but I can’t stand the flare ups so I bought a blackstone griddle. So far I like it but it takes a little getting used to
  7. IMO the big thing about a bow mount is I stand to fish all day so a bow mount is the way to go. If standing isn’t your thing then rear mounted motor will work. Rear mounted motors weigh less and are a lot less expensive but more complicated to rig
  8. 2021 and beginning of 2022 I have been the same. I would beat myself up for not going fishing in the kayak which would make the depression worse. I finally decided to just not got anymore and find something else to do. I’ve been helping a friend rebuild a house out on his farm. It gave me something to do. He would call when he needed me so I had no excuse not to go. And he paid me in cash. It’s really helped me a lot. I still haven’t gone fishing except while we were on vacation but that’s ok
  9. Two years ago no one had a mounting plate for a Jackson Big Rig so I made my own using this stuff. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07RWPJSS8?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title Because the BR bow isn’t flat I found rubber corks at a hardware store and cut them to size to sport the mount plate. I used stainless hardware and the biggest fender washers I found find for inside the hull. I mounted the motor at an angle so I wouldn’t loose my front handle
  10. Got the fury in 3 days from Tackle Warehouse. You were right @Darth-Baiter I do like that bait keeper
  11. good idea about using for spider webs
  12. How do you take line guides off?
  13. So what do you do with your broken rods? Is there a use for them?
  14. Hey neighbor. I’m in Avon. Dicks in Batavia still sells gun stuff? Henrietta got rid of theirs. I was in Sportsman Warehouse last week and no 9’s
  15. Wow! here in western Ny the local shops have hardly anything and what they do have is a 2 box limit and 50¢ a round. I’ve been getting mine at Targetsports for 28¢ a round
  16. Right about now with the way things are not on shelves take whatever you can get for range ammo
  17. Thank you for that. I was wondering if there was a difference
  18. Good to know about the fat grip. I really dislike skinny grips. They make my hand to cramp up. Thanks for the good news
  19. I’ve had 2 best friends in my life. First one died 10 years ago from skin cancer. We hardly ever talked unless we were out fishing but could jump right back into each other’s live at a seconds notice. We were friends for almost 20 years. My other best friend of the last 10 years died 2 years ago of breast cancer. We were inseparable. Talked everyday. My wife thinks she was her best friend but I know better lol. I really miss her. After she died I realized I had no other friends besides my wife which is good but not the same
  20. Ok thanks everyone. I ordered the Fury 7’ ML 702
  21. I have another thread in here about my drop shot problems and just as I was figuring things out I snapped my rod somehow as I was landing a fish. I searched and read what I found but a lot of the threads were older. So what dropshot rod do you use that will cost me under $150? https://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/249390-dropshot-problems/
