Bonus points if it doesnt revolve around fishing. :)

a truck overturned locally and spilled a bunch of tomatos.  it reminded me of my bucket list.  i want to visit Spain and participate in that Tomato fight.

do it before i am too old..dont want to break a hip!!  my  GoPro is water resistant.

second, i WILL see the Northern Lights before i shuffle off this mortal coil.  i am thinking Finland or something.

third..okay fishing.  i will fish for tuna at the Ascension Islands.  i might even take my brother.

my fourth aint happening.  i would love to land and take off from an Aircraft Carrier.  that ship literally has left port.  i am not ever gonna be a navy pilot.  hahaha..

My bucket list is complete, glad I got things done before my health started to act up.

Spent 13 years traveling with a camper to see/hike all the national parks and generally seeing all of the country, that's really all of my bucket list.

One of my sons buddies lived with us for his senior year of HS. Went to Annapolis and became a carrier pilot.

Carrier pilot? Did they declassify the flying ships?... :)

Everything I dreamed about doing I did and I did them when I was young enough to enjoy them.  Don't wait until you are old to make your dreams happen.  You can always make more money.  You can't make more time to live.  ☺️

Guess I've watched too many WWII movies.

Most of my bucket list involves fishing or at least the outdoors and camping.

In 2017 I got to check off my number one bucket list item, which was to go bass fishing in Lake Baccarac in Mexico. Should be tops on every bass fisherman’s bucket list IMO. I have a feeling I’ll be choosing to go back here before a lot of my other bucket list to-dos.

Another big one for me it to fish for trout, salmon and grayling while camping in Alaska.

A road trip across the country to Yellowstone is up there as well.

The only thing left in my fishing bucket is to catch my first smallmouth

Other than that, just be around long enough to keep finding things to fill it back up.

I just hope that some how, some way, and some day

I won't have to fish with this inferior Quantum gear anymore.

For years, I had wanted to go on a guided saltwater fishing trip.  I was able to do that in March 2018.

I've been meaning to sturgeon fish on the Rainy River one of these springs.  I hope that is the next item to get crossed off my list.

agree. And also make more dreams. The world is a very big place to explore. Finish your list?  Make a new list.

im very fortunate to have gone to a good school, worked hard, got a good job that allowed me to live abroad, all the while with a wife doing the same.  I certainly have no complaints or regrets. We lived in the UK for 12 years (some of those years with money and some without) and that allowed us to explore all over Europe and have jaunts to Africa and asia. Work sent us to a bunch of places that didn’t suck (sitting here in an airport for work). We’ve been a lot of cool places otherwise.  You know what?  There are so many cool places to see in this world that a bucket list is a never ending proposition.

in the spirit of the question, I want to dive the Galápagos Islands, Guadalupe island (no cage), and the sardine run in Durban. I need to fish Alaska for big rainbows during the salmon run. I want to do another Michelin star tour of France and Spain only for a week this time instead of 7 days.

Oh man, how big is the bucket?

I’d love to see the aurora borealis.

Dive the wrecks in Truk lagoon.

See the volcanoes and the USS Arizona memorial in Hawaii.

Catch a big musky.

Fish Great Slave Lake in the NWT

Hunt interior grizzly and Alaska-Yukon moose in Alaska (see Denali, too)

See the Baltimore Orioles reach the World Series again

I've spent over a week in Spain, Mexico City and I lived in Ecuador for 7 months.

Argentina is the only place that I really want to go- beef, wine, fishing all are supposedly excellent.

In the US, I want to go for big perch and walleye in Minnesota or the Dakotas.

And I want to get my diesel Benz back on the road.

Well the first step is recognizing where your inadequacy lies so good on you!

I don't have alot on my bucket list as of now- I'm not a big traveler. We moved a ton when I was a kid...I'm talking like 8 times by 6th grade. So that kind of took the wandering gene out of me. One thing I'd like to do is rent a beach cabin or cottage on the Texas coast somewhere down around Rockport or Aransas Pass for a week or two during winter. Not so much for fishing as much as nostalgia, warmer weather to break up my winter and seafood. My girlfriend has never seen salt water.

In 1996 a friend suggested I write down my "100 Wishes" for life. I was 29 when I started this list.

Last time I updated that list was 2006...

This thread reminded me of that document...so I searched and found it again (gotta love computers).

Some completed bucket list items:

  • Get a yellow lab, train him to hunt ducks (I've done this twice...and the third yellow lab is now 9 months old and getting ready for the season)
  • Hike the Grand Canyon and Glacier National Park (I've also hiked Yellowstone, volcano's national park in Hawai'i, Bryce Canyon, Zion, Grand Tetons, Moab)
  • Hunt Alaska (fly-in, self guided caribou hunt with three buddies...I had never camped before...spent a week rafting down river...great experience!)
  • Fish Canada (some buddies connected to a lodge owner...I've fished Lac Seul three times for walleye, pike, and smallies)
  • Start a business (I've been a picture-guy as a side job for 10+ years now).

Some yet to be completed bucket list items:

  • Catch a 10lb bass
  • Catch a 30lb musky
  • Visit Germany, D-day beaches, Siberia, Egypt

I'm with the Captain on this one.

Wow this is sad. I really don’t have a list and I haven’t really done anything. I’ve just become a home body. Not really content. My Mom moved in with us 4 years ago and I don’t feel like I can go any where any more.

Also maybe I’m just to practical. I know I don’t have the money to do much but I would like to fish the flats in Key West and drive across the top of the US, down the west coast, across the south and back up the east coast to home with no time limit, well maybe come home.
Ok so I guess I do have a bucket list

Bring it. Bassmaster classic 2023 would be a good time for it.

Book 'em, Danno!

Let me know if you can fish a day or two before or after the event.

Absolutely . There’s lots of places you can even fish during the event, all competitors have gone downstream in the past. There’s some excellent smallmouth waters off limits to competitors up river

we got on a good striper bite during the 2019 classic in mid March
