Brand new here, but I’ve been fishing bass, crappie and other panfish for some time now. I love kayak fishing, and would love to hook up with other kayakers in the Lancaster, PA area!

 

I recently found this Pflueger baitcaster reel but I can’t seem to find a reference to it anywhere.

 

Can anyone help me out with a model and maybe a link to schematics?

It could be one of two older reels - a Summit or a Supreme...a Google search found several references to a Summit PSM-IH but only one reference to a Supreme PSM-IH. Given the 4 bearings, I'm leaning towards the Summit.

 

Finding schematics for it? Might want to e-mail Pflueger direct.

the summit seems interesting. Anyone know what it’s worth if it’s a summit?

Couple of the links I found were auction sites - asking prices ranged from $12.50 to $30.00.

I found references to the summit, but they were all the “open” heavy saltwater type baitcasters. This is a “closed” baitcaster, similar to the supreme.

Maybe a Trion. I had one in a 5.2:1 gear ratio. Good reel IMO.
