tryin to get ready....

Me and a buddy are going to fish the bass splash tourney at Lake Fork in sept. i have a Tracker 14' grizzly awl side cosole. being a tourney you're gonna want to bring multiple rod/reel setups. what i'm wondering is, how can i modify my boat to accomodate three rod/reel setups each, so that they are protected/kinda out of the way and not mess my boat up. we have a rough idea, but i'm lookin for any ideas before i cut into my new boat.

Sit in the boat with your rods and reels and find out what works and does not work.

Bring extra reels and cut down on the rods.

Be sure to secure all baits after changing rods, especially your drop shot rigs, as the lines will get tangled together if you do not secure the rods.

Watch where you place the hooks when securing your rods as you do not want to sit down and have a hook go into your clothing or your body.

You may have to cut back on your tackle and rods to accommodate both of you in a 14-foot boat.

Trial and error will be your answer.  :D
