I am having trouble making my rod and reel arsenal for 2021. This is what I have so far. With a limited budget what modifications would you add? Is there anything I should Know about these setups?

• Flippin/ Jig rod   Duckett Ghost 7’ 3” Heavy W/ 8:2 Slx

 

• Texas Rig rod/ Jig rod Duckett Micro Magic 7’ Heavy W/ 7:2 Reel tatula

You have most things covered. I would suggest a heavy rod (heavier than a Duckett heavy which is like many brands Med. Heavy) for frogs and flipping into real thick stuff assuming you have some somewhere.
