changing crankbait hooks

does anyone have any "tricks" when changing crankbait hooks? having big hands it makes a clumsy a chore.

I have the same problem.  I bought a pair of split ring pliers.  Get the tyoe that have the wedge coming down on the lower jaw of the pliers instead of on the end of them.  Makes changing the hooks a snap.

Split-ring pliers are the only way to go.  After spending an hour changing the hooks on one DD22, I wised up and got a good set.

One word of advice though, do not attempt to use said pliers when riding shotgun in an F250 doing 75 with the boat in tow.  Buried two hooks into my thumb that evening.  :-/
