I’m needing another Curado, a 201, 6 to 1. Has anybody seen a good deal this week? Why are Curado K’s so cheap on the auction site? I’ve saw them for $135-150 for new in box, are these fakes? 

Highly unlikely that they are fakes. I have no clue how some places can sell reels so cheap. Either there is a HUGE markup on them or they are content with just making a few bucks on what they sell. I have bought reels on there that after buying them I hoped they weren't hot, but I guess there is no way to know for sure. I certainly don't want to buy anything that was stolen, but I guess it could happen.

   I have no idea which site you saw, nor do I know which price you saw, but one of the tactics of the Asian sites is for new sellers to come into the market with lowball prices, even loss leaders. They want recognition and market share. Many times you'll notice that these Asian sellers raise their prices after their initial entry into the market. And sometimes they do that, but only a little. They're trying to undersell their competition and destroy them.

   If you follow the Asian stock market, and the Asian international hard merchandise traders in particular, you'll see that it can be super cutthroat. The American market is not the only market they target.
