On artificial lures, 2 I can think of. 1st one around age 13 on a crankbait. I thought I had a record bass. When he touched land he broke my line and kept my lure in his face. Not too long ago I caught one on a soft plastic. The last time I actually fished for them I caught 22 in a months time. My elderly neighbor that thought they were the finest food to be had got burnt out on them. He said on number 22, that’ll be enough turtle 😀

Your biggest bass, what rod/reel did you catch on? Mine came on a $39 Walmart Abu Garcia Black max combo that is now 10-12 years old. Definitely places it as having a special place in my heart!!

First lures of the new year and my first Provokes!!

I’d love to have half or even a dozen Long A suspending done in colors that interest me. Id like to have some clown variations done!!! What kinda money per lure is to be expected? Who do you recommend?

Are these still made? Did the original suspend well or always need adjustment with lead tape? Thinking how these would appeal with their short fat shape, being jerked along and allowed to suspend.

Will you be filming footage for your YouTube? Can you try and do a slow detailed walk through of the Japanese tackle shop?
