What does it cost and who do you get to spray custom colors?

Featured Replies

I’d love to have half or even a dozen Long A suspending done in colors that interest me. Id like to have some clown variations done!!! What kinda money per lure is to be expected?  Who do you recommend?

Take a look at Bill Donahue/Badger Lures on Facebook. He painted this TK for me.

Painting often adds weight and can negatively affect a jerkbait's ability to suspend...

Mike Russell , Bag 5 baits or Tim Hughes down the road in Reeds Spring Mo.

Tim is the originator of the Table Rock shad color as well as Norman flake.

A good painter will either remove the existing paint or start with a blank.

Tim always used some sort of soda blast deal to remove the paint on the old Warts and stickbaits.

I second Mike Russell at Bag 5 Baits.  I've had him paint a number of Baby Minus One cranks.  I think the charge was around $11-12 per bait.  He will also provide new baits painted in a pattern of your choice.

Tim Hughes does awesome paint jobs, whatever you want. I don't remember the cost, but I was extremely happy.

I imagine acquiring that tidbit of knowledge came at a great cost to @TnRiver46!
