  1. Looks like a great time was had. There has been a lot of much needed rain in Alabama the past two weeks.
  2. One day @T-Billy will be the man that caught 10,000 muskies.
  3. It would probably get bites, but if you’re going to use live bait all you need is a hook, and enough weight to get down to the depth you want to fish. The jig is unnecessary IMO. They make sprays or gel scents that are easier than catching and hooking live bait on a jig. If you decide try it I’d be curious to hear how it goes.
  4. That second fish has some beautiful color @Susky River Rat! Nice picture.
  5. That’s always good. 😂 Nice fish!
  6. Very cool. I like how the picture really showcases that trustworthy mustache. Congrats on the write up, and thanks for your vision, and work to build BR.
  7. @king fisher Nice haul! I've never had the opportunity to eat fresh caught tuna, but I imagine it is fantastic.
  8. There’s on called frndly tv that we have because my wife wants the hallmark channel. I don’t watch a ton of tv, but it has a couple of decent outdoor channels I watch on occasion. I think it’s about $100 for a year subscription.
  9. @Eric 26, you may be aware of this, but in some places it’s not legal to transport fish to other public waters, even though your intentions are good. You might want to check before you try to move it.
  10. Glad to her they found the issue, and it’s treatable. Not being able to breathe would be pretty scary.

    Good luck in the tournament.
  12. Beautiful fish, @T-Billy!
  13. It's along the same line, but I was thinking of this one. 🤣
  14. Got you. That makes a lot more sense. I appreciate the explanation.
  15. I know everyone's circumstances are different, but thinking you only have 2-5 good years of fishing left at 50 seems quite pessimistic. You never really know, but I'd like to think I have a number of good years left in me. When I grow up I hope to be catching fish like @Swamp Girl and @Lottabass. They catch more fish than most on this site, and there are a lot of good sticks around here.
  16. I'm just now seeing this, but it's looking good @Joedodge!
  17. @Dwight Hottle Wow!
  18. I've never tried that color, but I use those spinnerbaits a lot. Now I have to get that color now...thanks a lot. 😂
  19. Wow! Those are some beautiful fish @A-Jay!
  20. I believe it’s a Strike King tour grade in morning dawn.
  21. Great post. Thanks for sharing, and congratulations to her, and to you. Looks like you've been doing something right.
  22. Beautiful bass! Congrats.
  23. I'll try to make a long story short-ish. I took the day off of work to go up to Tennessee to fish with a friend, but when we got to the ramp his boat wouldn't start. We tinkered with it for a long time trying to get it going, but no luck. Since it was after 2:00 by the time I got home, and I had burned a day off of work I went to a friend's pond just so I could catch something. It was a disappointing morning, but the evening turned out alright. This pond had no bass in it when he bought the property. We caught bass from the river to put in his pond, so it's possible that I have caught that fish before. We need to find a time to fish together. I'll send you a PM.
