Tribute to Tom (WRB)

Featured Replies

Tom discussed his favorite jig color in here a few years ago. Black, purple and brown.

So I decided to tie a couple in his honor.

I started with a @Siebert Outdoors Shot Caller jig head ( I think they are the best head design for grass and pads) and tied with black on top, purple in the center and brown at the bottom (per Tom’s description).

Tied one each with a black head and a green pumpkin head.

What do ya’ll think?

Nicely done. I hope you catch a fish like one of Tom's big ones on them.

Nice! I learned a lot about how to fish jigs from Tom.

That is pretty nice! I learned a lot about jig fishing from Tom a lot about fishing in general from him.

Tom sent me a sketch on how to rig the Slip Sinker Rig. He was a world of fishing knowledge.

That's a good looking jig.

Nice! I got some jigs from Tom for secret Santa. I refuse to fish them…
