  1. Would love to try this weight. Can't get them here.
  2. That's really great! I too love to experiment extensively. Its why some of the tackle I favor is not run-of-the-mill stuff. Please let us know how it works..I'm interested.
  3. Have not tried them...yet. My sunglasses have readers built in. So I can still use "normal" hooks...
  4. Sure, why not? Any nail weight will do. I prefer the Decoy screw in for that application.
  5. I know what it is! What do I win? LOL 😆 It's a type of nail weight. You can you as per normal or you can thread an EWG hook through it.
  6. I think they're more under the radar than they should be, given how great most of their baits are. Swammer is great. Xzone Deception Worm is great on a Neko for me. Finesse Slammer great on drop shot. And recently, local guys have been loving Rally Shad for Walleye. I really like their stuff! 309 is a great color here in the Great Lakes.
  7. These are the cornerstone of my grab and go bags. Each is loaded with my preferred technique specific baits and terminal (those themselves in tiny plastic zip pouches). I got back and forth between the mesh style and the PVC clear style. I buy in bulk, no name brand and replace as needed. But I do have a few of the Ryugi bags..visible on front of photo. And the micro zip bags I use for terminal are Megabass.
  8. But nowhere near as well, having used both types (Decoy Silicone Gripper). The Hayabusa is in a class of its own, IMO. I've had baits completely broken in half, no tail, utterly destroyed etc. And yet the body was still held on with the Hayabusa keeper. I agree with the sentiment that they are a more expensive option, however. While we're on keepers, if you are having problems keeping your bait on the head of the jig, bladed jig, etc The Ryugi Inset Keepers are excellent. They clip through the bait onto the jig head. Simple, but genius. Image below. My order of keepers would be: 1) Hayabusa Trailer 2) Rapid Hook All 3) Bait Buttons 4) Other keepers BONUS USE of the earring backers suggested: they make truly excellent Free Rig knot bumpers. So for multi-use, these can be a great, cheap option for someone as Brayberry rightfully points out. It's a bit sad that I know so much about keepers. Can you tell I fish lots of fragile, Japanese baits? LOL 😆
  9. These are not the exact same thing IMO (although they both hold bait). Unless I'm confused? I think the silicone backers are more akin to a traditional keeper like the EXCELLENT Rapid Hook All. https://www.rapidfishingsolutions.com/products/hook-all/ Below is the Hayabusa. And is the best bait keeper I've used yet for Keitech...or anything else.
  10. I use the Nishine DS Hook (attaches witha Snell knot) and the Hayabusa Spin Muscle. 2 less common hooks IMO. Was quite sad when I learned the Spin Muscle was being discontinued. A truly excellent, multi-use hook!
  11. I use them and mention them in every "my bait is ripping/sliding/falling off" thread. Love them.

I've been fishing poop/mushi baits a long while. And these are just an extension of those and I've been fishing these for a good bit, too. And I have to say, I think the Coike Shrimp is the best in the family. It just gets bit more..and with more conviction. No faffing around with any special hooking arrangement, either. Just an EWG. The many appendages are positively buzzing on the drop. Watch a video and see. Can fish it a variety of ways, dropshot, Texas, Weightless, Jika, etc So from the Coike family, this is the one I prefer. I also prefer the Tiemco Hedgehog over a Coike, too. Much more versatile. Great topwater! And it should be since its based on the excellent Wild Mouse topwater. Again, EWG hooks. Extremely flowing arms. Has a pin tail which makes it more traditional. I like the "Baby" size that takes a 1/0.
  13. As a devotee of Japanese baits....I only care about what it looks like underwater! LOL 😆 Its all about the action, baby!
  14. The Missile Baits Magic Worm is also excellent..and is a collaboration with Roboworm. Which means the colors are outstanding.
  15. They are designed with a slow retrieve in mind...so that's what I do.
  16. I don't have any problem casting them. But I'm on spinning.
  17. You are of course correct...but my reply was more of a "in the family" type of thing. The entire family is great, IMO. I REALLY like these! They are more compact and shockingly loud...they can be heard a long ways away! Really easy to cast and fish. And you could throw them in a Light rod if needed (I do! ). So yea..I like them!!
  18. Megabass Karashi
  19. Same here. OSP Buzzjet Jr..is top shelf too.
  20. As others have said, the Xzone Deception and Netbait T-Mac are excellent choices.
  21. I love throwing poop/bug baits like no other! Currently having a load of fun throwing the Kunnery 3.6 around. It's a fish catcher!! Photos below. But my most effective is definitely the Free Rig. It's soooooo versatile.

I'd say you clearly don't understand mindfulness/meditation... You have a great day as well.

"Sure, throwing a ned rig or wacky senko every trip will catch you lots of bass, but it won't grab your soul since you're only fishing one thing, and it won't challenge you." A pretty presumptuous statement, IMO. How do they know the person throwing a Ned isn't in a Zen-like state of mindfulness or perhaps finds raw, pure, joyful bliss in throwing such a simple presentation? Maybe to them the Ned rig IS their soul grabbing technique. Also, not everyone needs to fish to "challenge" themselves. Some just fish for "the love of the game". Fishing means something different to everyone and there is no right or wrong answer. Not every fisherman will fit neatly into a categorized box...
  24. One of my best producers was a Flick Shake worm in Cola wacky rigged on dropshot.
  25. There's some specialty pin tail baits that are specifically designed to prevent rollover on bladed jigs. They are flat on the bottom like a beaver but have a very lively pintail. My favorite of these is the Nories Hulabug. However, the real ticket is a bladed jig designed to come over cover without snags. The best of the bunch (and IMO the best bladed jig, period) is the Jackall Super Break Blade. It had guards on the top..but most importantly, guards on the BOTTOM that prevent snags and rollover. The head design optimizes coming through cover, too. So effective are these, I've gone 2 seasons without losing one to a snag.
