I have a 1756sc triton and I was thinking of the possibility of adding a head unit and speakers to my boat.

Has anyone done this? Pictures?

Is this something I could install myself or should I get quotes from shops to do it?

    Ever wired a car stereo? Pretty easy. 2 12v hot wires (one constant and one switched that you will probably want to run thru a toggle...), a ground wire, antenna cable, then speaker wires. Be sure to put a fuse on the hot wires!

    Mounting wont be bad, just make sure you measure the hole right the first time before you cut  ;D Good luck!  8-)

    Buy a speaker and an amplifier at Radio Shack. plug in an mp3 player and your off to the races.Plus with the mp3 you can listen to whatever you want.That's what I did works great.
