My grandson bought this reel and stopped by last night to show it to me. Aiden got the 2500 size. Typical Shimano smoothness, and a weight of 9oz on this size. This is slightly heavier than a 2500 Sahara that I use. Plenty of line capacity for bass fishing. The reel seems to be well made, smooth, and durable also. And, if you like to backreel with your spinning reels, this one still has an AR switch, an up down switch, located on the side of the reel. If your in the market for a spinning reel that doesn't cost much, but is still a quality piece, this may be a good option. Price is 49.95.
