That's how insanely popular this console is, you'd have a better chance at winning the MegaMillions then buying a PS5 at a store. I'm just going off on this now because I just got an alert that Walmart had them in stock today at 3pm and after trying 3 different times (the store release their stock in 10 minute waves) and having it sold out by the time my brain finished processing the refresh button push to my finger I just got really irritated and had to air my gripe out  .

It's really what it's going to come down to though.  

 

With PC parts, they are already announcing next generation CPUs and GPUs and you can't even buy current generation stuff.

Consoles seem a little different though, Sony has been running the PS4 for about 5 or 6 years now (maybe even 7)...they don't tend to introduce something new every year like say an iPhone so I'm pretty confident that by Spring or so when the newness has worn off a little and when Sony floods the market with them like they say they're going to that I'll be able to snag one. Patience is a virtue .

Yeah wait a few months and they will be readily available.  Also let the early adopters work out the bugs.

 

Could be worse.  You could have been waiting for Sony's new phone.
