Base for Eagle Cuda 168

Featured Replies

Alright, driving back from the lake the other day, I somehow managed to lose the mounting bracket that came with my Eagle Cuda 168 (making me glad I keep the unit itself in my tackle box when I am not on the boat).

I cannot find a replacement to save my life. I have googled and googled and googled, checked stores, and it seems aside from buying a new one or making my own, I cannot pick one of these up. The fish finder itself was lik $70 so I am not really sweating bullets over it but I am shocked I cannot find this stupid piece of plastic somewhere.

Anyone know where I could pick something up cheap that would work?

Have you tried contacting Eagle/Lowrance?

It would not surprise me, given the initial low cost of the unit, that parts aren't available for it or only limited parts are.

Good point. I was hoping I would find one on ebay or some side site for a few bucks. I figured with how cheap they are, probably not much luck in finding a new one but hey you never know right?

Probably the BPS you were at doesn 't carry it, reason why he looked at you that way.

With BPS it depends on the store you are at, not all stores carry all the items you can find at the on-line store. When I visited BPS in St Louis I got this idea I wanted to purchase a GLoomis rod ( SJR782 IMX ), the store compared to other BPS stores I 've been to is quite small, I looked all over and yes they did have the rod but not the one I wanted, they only had 1 SJR782 GL2. Also, I wanted a reel, the only one available was the demo, the manager agreed to sell it to me and other than a small nick on the paint the reel was perfect, they made me a 20% discount because it was a demo.
